Top Beaches in Quy Nhon - Some of the best in Vietnam!

The beaches in Quy Nhon are spectacular and a major draw for its visitors. You can find a lesser-known secluded beach all to yourself or a beach close to the city.

1

Bai Xep Beach

Bai Xep is a small fishing village quite popular for its size and teeming with many winding alleys. The beach is located 13 kilometres away from Quy Nhon and is spectacular with jagged rocks on either side of the beach. There is a crescent-shaped bay that provides shelter for swimming. This beach is seldom crowded with tourists, and the sea is usually full of traditional Vietnamese fishing boats. Just across the waters, you can spot the Hon Ngang and Hon Dat Islands. The local guest house arranges excursions to the islands with snorkelling and food onboard. Taxis will usually drop you off at the top of a lane that will lead you to the beach, as vehicles cannot access these narrow lanes.

2

Quy Hoa Beach

Quy Hoa beach is on the coastal road towards the south of Quy Nhon and is about 10 kilometres away from the city. The beach has a long sandy coastline stretching over a kilometre sheltered by greenery. It's usually secluded during weekends and is the perfect getaway from the bustling city of Quy Nhon. The coastline has a few quaint shops, houses, and cafes, yet quite peaceful. The beach can be accessed by multiple roads, and many signposts lead visitors to the important landmarks on the beach and the surrounding village.

3

Queen Beach (Bai Trung)

Queen Beach is also known as the stone egg beach (Bai Trung) due to the egg-shaped rocks scattered over the shoreline. The Queen Beach is named in memory of the late Vietnamese Queen Nam Phuong. Bai Trung was her favourite resting place when she had time to spend away from her royal duties. Due to its rocky shoreline, it is not ideal for swimming; however, its many rock surfaces make for a great coastal viewing point to rest and unwind. You can access it via Ghenh Rang Landscape Park by simply following the road uphill. There are several cafés and restaurants on route. You will then find a stone stairway that leads up to the beach. The Park is quite the attraction with many picturesque, landscaped gardens, hidden pathways, and secret terraces to wander about.

4

Eo Gio

Eo Gio is 20 kilometres northeast of Quy Nhon, over the Thi Nai Bridge. This beach is a far cry from the sandy beaches and is perfect for someone looking for adventure. The beautiful waters in Eo Gio are surrounded by dramatic rocky peaks, hills, and caves with many footpaths allowing for a day of exploration. The footpaths will lead you to the rocky cavern, from there you can carefully traverse the rocky boulders to explore the rest of this magnificent coastline. Swimming is not an option due to its rocky interior, but there are plenty of rock pools to explore and wade your feet. It is best to travel by taxi to Eo Gio if you are coming from Quy Nhon and have a driver wait for you. Taxis around here are quite difficult to come by. There are many excellent accommodation options when it comes to beach resorts in Vietnam that can arrange transport to all these fantastic beaches. Anantara Quy Nhon Villas is a good option if you want to indulge in some luxury whilst exploring the beaches of Quy Nhon.

Ky Co Beach

Ky Co Beach is found amid rocky cliffs. The beach is famous for its beautiful turquoise waters and golden sands. It is undoubtedly one of the most splendid beaches in Quy Nhon.
