Visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque

Also known as the Grand Mosque, the Sheikh Mosque is arguably one of Abu Dhabi's most famous attractions, and a for a very good reason. It is simply stunning with 82 intricate detailed domes, reflective pools in the courtyards, and white marble walls and is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful places of worship in the world. The interior can fit a whopping 40,000 people and houses the third largest chandelier, covered in Swarovski crystals along with the world's largest carpet. Keep in mind, as this is the place of worship, dressing appropriately is a must. The mosque is open to the public daily from 9 am to 10 pm except on Fridays. The mosque is free to all visitors, so keep in mind, that it can get pretty crowded come mid-day.

Experience a Desert Safari

No visit to Abu Dhabi is replete without embarking on an exciting desert safari. Luckily, the desert is less than an hour and promises to be a fun adventure. One can opt for morning or evening safaris, or even an overnight camping experience A complete experience will include a pickup, drop off, sandboarding, dune bashing, camel riding, followed by a belly dancing show and BBQ buffet.

Visit the Mangroves

Apart from the natural mangrove forest is beautiful and is home to a variety of marine life. A visit will certainly offer a welcome break from the rest of the fast-paced Abu Dhabi. Louvre Abu Dhabi

Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi first opened to the public in 2017 and is the first of its kind to open outside of France. Located on Saadiyat Island, the museum is a true masterpiece with a metallic roof that resembles a cosmic dome. During the day, natural light pierces through the intricate latticework which in turn creates a beautiful illusion inside. The entrance fee is 63 dirhams. Viewing the opening times before visiting is highly recommended. Do note that the Louvre Abu Dhabi is closed to the public on Mondays.

Take a walk along the Corniche

Come early evening, a walk along the Corniche will prove to be a magical experience. Stretching out for over 8km, this promenade forms a part of Corniche Beach. There are also plenty of elegant and relaxing restaurants and cafes, where you can stop for a delicious bite to eat or a cappuccino while drinking in the stunning views of the mesmerising beachfront.
