Chaweng Walking Street

This long street is loaded with stalls selling many delightful things from T-Shirts, flowing beach dresses, cutoff jeans. sunglasses, colourful flip flops, souvenirs and a plethora of other items to keep you browsing and happy for hours. The prices are attractive the vendors are friendly making it a joyful experience for both parties. Don't forget to try the dining options too which provides value for money. It is not only the shopping and food which attract the tourists to Chaweng, it is also a friendly and open meeting place for them. The food stalls are open daily from 4.30 pm onwards, the shopping stalls are closed on Fridays and Sundays.

Maenam Walking Street

Not far from Mae Nam Beach, this walking street comes alive each Thursday evening from 5 pm onwards at Koh Samui's Chinatown. As the stalls are set up the street turns into a lively hive of activity and a great atmosphere to shop in. Watch the snack vendors and mobile cocktail bars in action serving with brisk expertise attending to the masses of people. Try out the stalls selling clothing, watches, handicraft items to pick your choice and complete the evening by dining at the market itself.
