The beaches in Desaru are stunning, lined with Casuarina trees it stretches for over 25 kilometres. Founded in 1979, this farm has more than 1000 protected crocodiles that make it their home. The star attraction of the farm is a 132-year-old toothless crocodile relaxing into his old age. Visitors to the farm can watch the crocodiles being fed and get close to baby crocodiles under the supervision of the caretakers.

Witness the Bujang Fireflies

Visiting this breeding ground of the rare Bujang Fireflies and many other species of fireflies is a unique experience. You get to see over 29 diverse firefly species in the breeding site. Watch them emit colours of green, yellow, and pale red and fly among the berembang trees over the Sunagi Lebain Wetlands by night. A Truly magical sight for sure!

Visit the Desaru Ostrich Farm

Located in Teluk Raumania, the farm is home to more than 300 ostriches, the world's largest bird. Kids will get the opportunity to get very close to these marvellous animals, and the caretakers will help them to understand more about these creatures. There are gift and souvenir shops to purchase unique trinkets made from ostrich shells and feathers.
