There is indeed a lot to see and do in this amazing country blessed with a bounty of nature's treasures, open spaces, warm and friendly people and incredible wildlife to make your holiday an unforgettable experience from the moment you step onto the soil to the time you say 'till we meet again'

1

The awesome Victoria Falls

Being one of the seven natural wonders of the world, this great cascading curtain of foaming water is a magnificent sight as it pounds down over a widespread area of nearly 02 kilometres into the Batoka Gorge at a sheer drop of over a hundred metres below. Although you can see it from miles away, treat yourself to a closer look at this beautiful lady located not too far away from Royal Livingstone hotel to feel her grandeur and might, especially during the rainy season as the spray becomes fierce. This falls also strategically mark the border between Zambia and neighbouring Zimbabwe.

2

An exciting canoe ride on the Zambezi

The fourth-longest river in Africa and a mighty one at that, also being famous for the magnificent cascade of water (Victoria Falls) is an ideal water body to enjoy many activities. Try the canoe ride to have that invigorating feeling of being close to nature as you spot exotic birds, crafty crocodiles lazily sunbathing or herds of hippos just a few metres away from you. If you are lucky you would spot the majestic elephants who are drawn in numbers to revel in the gorgeous waters of the Zambezi river.

3

Explore exciting Lusaka

Being the capital city of Zambia, Lusaka is a bustling and happening place with big buildings, many reputed chain stores, huge shopping malls coming up and even flowing over to the suburbs. Explore the malls, do a visit to a market and mingle with the friendly people, witness brisk business is taking place with locals selling their wares, hairdressers, a variety of restaurants, fresh produce, seafood and motor spares galore. An interesting rendezvous to get the local vibes as done by guests from Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara.

Be enthralled at the South Luangwa National Park

Located in eastern Zambia, the almost 10,000 square km nature reserve thrives well due to the meandering Luangwa River gurgling its way through the park leaving in its wake the great lagoons and lakes fostering the concentration of exotic wildlife at this park. Walking safaris at this park are incredible as you get closer to the animals than when going in a vehicle. You would be enthralled by the amazing variety of wildlife from small exotic insects, tropical birds, great animals and rare flora.

Woo the spectacular Lake Kariba on a houseboat

The largest man-made dam in Zambia, providing hydropower to both Zambia and Zimbabwe, this is more like an ocean than a dam providing breathtaking views, magnificent sunsets, water sports, fishing and relaxing holidays and weekend getaways. The sunny weather prevalent complements the setting for an ideal houseboat holiday as you treat yourself to the beauty around you.
