Tian Tan Buddha

Situated at the largest island of Hong Kong, Lantau Island, this imposing statue of Lord Buddha Shakyamuni at 34 metres made of bronze exudes an aura of serenity as it draws visitors to its soothing and calm environment and to also witness the beautiful sunrise by being there early. The statue can be reached by climbing a little over 250 steps which are worth the effort to feel the proximity to nature and the vistas around.
