When visiting a new country for the first time, many people will tend to visit some of the nearby attractions, or simply stay in one part of that country. However, to truly appreciate the beauty of a country, it is important to venture into the nature that the nation has to offer.

The Khao Phra Thaeo National Park

For many, venturing out into the wild comes with various expectations. For some, there is a desire to witness wildlife while others hope to simply enjoy being observing the flora and fauna that are thriving in these ecosystems.
The Khao Phra Thaeo National Park is located on the northern side of Phuket, and this national park is filled with the remaining virgin rainforest of the island. Khao Phra Thaeo is located 21.5 km away from the main city so it will require you to take some form of a cab or public transport to reach this national park.
At the park, you can also hope to run into barking deer, wild boars and various monkeys so be sure to bring a camera or some binoculars along with you. The Khao Sok National Park

This national park is the site of one of the oldest evergreen rainforests that spreads over approximately 460 square miles and is one of the best national parks in Phuket. This landscape along with the stunning azure bays is the perfect destination for travellers to rest and rejuvenate themselves.
This amazing location is found close to other popular destinations such as Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui as well as Khai Lak. This makes the Khao Sok National Park one of the most accessible in this part of Thailand.

Experience Sirinat National Park

This is a brilliant coastal park with a beach forest and it is relatively small. The forest consists mainly of Pinetree species such as ironwood and is found on the northwest coast of Phuket Island. The SRC is also quite popular with local and international travellers due to its lovely white sandy shores that offer up amazing moments to those who go for a stroll.
It is ideal to reserve at least 2 days to ensure that you can take in all the SRC has to offer.

Khao Lak – Lam Ru National Park

Khao Lak- Lam Ru National Park is located along the coast of the Andaman Sea, and its evergreen forest makes it a true paradise for nature lovers. You can find this national park just 80km north of central Phuket and contains within its domain lush green forests, small beaches as well as various trails for hikes.
