Here are 10 movies from 2019 that you simply can't miss! These are my personal favorites from a year filled with various great films. I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I did!

Unsettling, unpredictable, but undoubtedly captivating, Midsommar is one of those films best seen without knowing anything about it beforehand. The highlights for me were the excellent, striking cinematography, the general atmosphere of something is definitely wrong, and the brilliant performances by the actors.
From South Korea comes Bong Joon Ho's Parasite, a film centered around a poor family conning a rich family into hiring them as their household staff. This "fake it 'till you make it" tale explores the deepening wealth gap in modern Korean society and all the issues that it raises. And it does that in Style.
Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood: Directed by Quentin Tarantino. With Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch. A faded television actor and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles.
Joker: Directed by Todd Phillips. With Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Frances Conroy. In Gotham City, mentally troubled comedian Arthur Fleck is disregarded and mistreated by society. He then embarks on a downward spiral of revolution and bloody crime. This path brings him face-to-face with his alter-ego: the Joker.
Knives Out: Directed by Rian Johnson. With Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis. A detective investigates the death of a patriarch of an eccentric, combative family.
The Irishman: Directed by Martin Scorsese. With Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel. Hitman Frank Sheeran looks back at the secrets he kept as a loyal member of the Bufalino crime family.
Vivarium: Directed by Lorcan Finnegan. With Imogen Poots, Danielle Ryan, Molly McCann, Jesse Eisenberg. A young couple looking for the perfect home find themselves trapped in a mysterious labyrinth-like neighborhood of identical houses.
Uncut Gems: Directed by Benny Safdie, Josh Safdie. With Mesfin Lamengo, Sun Zhi Hua-Hilton, Liang Wei-Hui-Duncan, Sunny Wu Jin Zahao. With his debts mounting and angry collectors closing in, a fast-talking New York City jeweler risks everything in hope of staying afloat and alive.
Marriage Story: Directed by Noah Baumbach. With Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson, Julia Greer, Azhy Robertson. Noah Baumbach's incisive and compassionate look at a marriage breaking up and a family staying together.
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum: Directed by Chad Stahelski. With Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne. John Wick is on the run after killing a member of the international assassins' guild, and with a $14 million price tag on his head, he is the target of hit men and women everywhere.
