Everyone knows Bangkok is a shopping hub, with sprawling shopping malls spread across the capital. The open market scene is just as thriving in the city. Check out the list below for some of the best night markets around Bangkok.

Talat Rot Fai

There are at present two Talat Rot Fai markets in operation. It is also known as Train Night Market. The first Talat Rot Fai Market was inaugurated in 2010 by a former antique dealer and was initially founded close to the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
It is a large open-air bazaar type of market with plenty of stalls with street food, snacks, beverages, thrift shopping, new clothes, vintage stuff, accessories, antiques, you name it.

Talad Neon Night Market

The market opened in December 2016 and was found in downtown Pratunam near Siam. Hence it is additionally named the ''Downtown Night Market of Bangkok''. If you are close to the Pratunam or Siam region, you can just walk to the Neon Market in the evening. The Flower Market, Pak Khlong Talat is a treat for the senses. With thousands of flowers spread across the entire market and is open 24 hours. However, it is busiest at night and before sunrise. That's when the boats and vehicles bring flowers all over Thailand.

It is a massive open-air marketplace found in the easterly suburbs of Bangkok. The goods get laid on the ground, with all sorts of trinkets, antique items, hippy clothes and memorabilia from yesteryear.

This section of Bangkok is recognised as the 'Little Arabia', due to the many Arabic businesses setting up shop.
