The Best Attractions in Si Racha - Top five experiences!

In Si Racha, you will have no trouble discovering enjoyable activities. Read about the history of the region and see the top landmarks in this attractive city. Prepare your to-do list now so you'll be ready to go when you arrive.

1

Khao Kheow Open Zoo

Over the course of 32 years, this zoo has established itself as a valued asset in eastern Thailand. The Khao Kheow-Khao Chom Puo Wildlife Sanctuary covers more than 2,000 acres, including the zoo. In addition to wildlife habitat (spanning four hundred acres), there are recreational and social areas (spanning two hundred acres), and a location for research (spanning over one thousand acres) that is utilised for the rearing of numerous endangered animals. It is, in fact, the first-ever zoo here in Thailand to become a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).

2

J Park

Specifically, the J Park complex was constructed to serve the significant Japanese population that lives in the Si Racha region. If you like Japanese cuisine, there is no better place in Thailand to visit than here, where you can find a plethora of eateries in an authentic Japanese village environment to select from. This is another reason why most tourists like to find accommodation around the area. For instance, you can check out apartments in Chonburi the likes of Somerset Harbourview Sri Racha, which is only 13 minutes away from J Park. An additional feature here is the Japanese-styled gardens and bridges; these attract locals who come to take family photographs in a calm and colourful environment. Local sellers selling locally produced goods at extremely low costs may also be found around the area. Expect to spend two or three hours here, particularly if you are here for lunch or dinner.

3

Bang Saen

Bang Saen is a town that is well-known across Thailand for its beautiful beaches, and it is a popular Si Racha tourist destination that many people enjoy. Bang Saen transforms into a bustling tourist destination during the weekends when visitors from neighbouring regions and other Thai provinces flock to enjoy the pristine beaches!

4

Bang Phra Reservoir

Enchanting views of the rolling hills and a splendid lake will envelop you when you visit this reservoir. So, make sure not to miss out on the sweeping views that will make the perfect Instagram post. On one side of the lake here, there are a few outdoor dining options available. As you travel around the lake, you'll pass a number of golf courses too. This place is incredibly charming!

5

Chao Pho Khao Yai Shrine

An elaborate gondola track transports visitors up to the temple complex below. On entering the temple, you are greeted with the lovely sensation of a perpetual chilly breeze blowing across the island. There's also a panoramic view of the gorgeous island and its surroundings that you will love. It's simply breathtaking. It is good to pay a visit to the temple and take in the sights and sounds of the shrine as well as the surrounding splendour. It is highly recommended.
