Orchard Street might be the ultimate shopping district in Singapore, but it contains more than just shopping! Check out what else is in store for you at the famous Orchard Street.

Trampoline fun

If you need stress or for some simple child-like fun, head to BOUNCE Singapore! Found near Orchard Street, this place has a range of trampolines, obstacle races and many fun activities to try. Providing for adults and children, it's a great way for friends to get together or for some family fun time. Ticket Prices range from $25 for adults and $17 for children.

Visit Emerald Hill

Frequently ignored by visitors, Emerald Hill is a beautiful conservation zone located behind The Centrepoint and Midpoint Orchard. Appreciate the beauty of the vibrant heritage of Peranakan shophouses and get some photos with the people as keepsakes! The complex features of the shophouses further exhibit the cross-cultural importance of Singapore during its earlier times. A stroll on the grounds is a peaceful break from the ever-bustling Orchard Street.

Visit the library

Visiting a library is perhaps the last thing anyone wants to do on a holiday, but this library@orchard is not your average library either. The books are not the only attraction here, but the sleek design of the interior of the library is worth a visit. andIt blends modern and rustic elements to create a unique ambience! Its prominent white walls ideally juxtapose with the shape of shelves, presenting a futuristic look! It is open every day from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm.

If you feel like a creative break while in Orchard, check out Arteastiq! Mixing "art" and "tea" it's the spot to grab some tea and unleash your creative muses in the art jam workshop. Their idea is centred around social intercommunication while displaying your creativity on an empty canvas. They offer many discounts and packages for crowds, such as a birthday party or bridal shower. The birthday special deal includes a 1-for-1 opportunity! Where every painting session is followed by a free drink. Prices range from 48$ and above.

The Cathay Gallery

If you are a lover of old-time Hollywood, then don't forget to visit the Cathay Gallery! Wander through film memorabilia, old movie chairs, movie billboards and posters, camera equipment and so much more. The stuff dates back to the 1930s. You can additionally learn about the film history of Singapore, the history behind Cathay cinemas and many more interesting facts, and all of this comes totally free!
Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 2 PM-6 PM, and on Saturdays from 12 PM-6 PM. It is closed on Sundays and Public holidays.

Cosmic Bowling!

For a great time out with family and friends check out Cosmic Bowling at K Bowling Club at 313@Somerset. It is the first cosmic bowling alley in Singapore. There will be lightning and music as you bowl, the place has a great atmosphere and is not your typical bowling alley!
Entrance Prices range from $11 per person for each game.
Opening hours are from Monday to Thursday from 10 AM to 1 AM, and from Friday to Sun from 10 AM to 3 AM onwards. If you are on the look out for accommodation in Orchard Road, serviced apartments such as the Ascott Orchard Singapore are among the options available.
