Google Expeditions is a great way to take students on a field trip but virtually! This app allows no pressure to fund a real-life field trip! Virtual reality is all the craze nowadays with education or just for fun! Most schools do not have the funding for a trip to Macchu Picchu, but with Google Expeditions, this is possible. You can quiz your students on the trip, guide them through trips and track what your students are doing.
Are you looking for a cool and creative way to manage your classroom as an educator? Class Dojo is a great tool for classroom management, communication with parents and students, and creating a positive community. Class Dojo is a great way to communicate with parents and keep them up to date about what is happening in the classroom on a day-to-day basis.

Flipgrid is my number one technology tool. This app/website allows teachers to enable video discussions in the classroom. Especially during the pandemic when learning online was prevalent, Flipgrid allowed for students and teachers to see each other to kind of recreate face-to-face learning. Flipgrid is more interesting to learners because rather than having to read a paragraph, it allows students to watch a video and interact.
Looking to add VR to your classroom? Merge Cube is one of the best in the education community. Merge cube allows your students to hold digital 3D objects, enabling an entirely new way to learn through the digital world.
Goosechase is within my top 5 favorites of technology for teachers because it redefines scavenger hunts. Using GooseChase, students can take photos or videos of scavenger hunt items, solve word puzzles, and use GPS to tag their location, such as an art museum. When the weather doesn't permit an outdoor scavenger hunt, Goosechase is there to help.
Most 2021 students love TikTok. 3D Bear has a similar algorithm. Using 3D Bear you can find lesson plans to teach a VR or AR lesson where students will find many stickers to add to their virtual reality space.
Here is an example of a lesson using 3D Bear:https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1fpYBW2kAJwtPKsQSeMjs9Ll8umBhH1xY/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=112165809436728465340&rtpof=true&sd=true

Twitter is a great way to expand a teacher's professional network. Keep in contact with fellow teachers and learn new ideas in the education realm. Step outside your classroom and see what your peers are doing in theirs.
