Climb Phousi Mountain

Phousi Mountain is one of the main attractions in Luang Prabang. Tour Wat Manorom

Said to be one of the oldest temples in Luang Prabang, Wat Manoram features as one of the star attractions in Luang Prabang. The signature feature of the temple is the main ordination hall also known as a sim in Lao. Inside it, you will find a majestic statue of bronze Buddha, which is said to date back to 1372, although it has been restored several times over the decades. Getting to the Wat is rather an adventure in itself, and is a great opportunity to really immerse yourself in the local culture while walking through the twisting streets to get to the main courtyard so the temple. Make your way to Kuang Si Waterfalls

One of the highlights of a trip to Luang Prabang is the opportunity to take in the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls. To reach this attraction, you can choose to cycle there on a rented bike or sign up for a tour. Upon reaching, you will have to trek through a lush jungle to take in the different falls which can be taken in stages. The plunge pools at the base of the falls are ideal to dive into especially if you are feeling tired and hot after the tiring hike. Admire the stunning Wat Xieng Thong

No doubt Luang Prabang is renowned for its monasteries, and none other than Wat Xieng Thong. This particular temple is known for its expansive ordinations halls and the walls adorned with intricate mosaics. There are also a number of smaller chapels and stupas on the property, which means that you will need to allocate several hours to really explore and take in everything.
