Back in March, a promo clip from Kyoto Animation from about 2012 was floating around the internet. It was a short 30 seconds, but it captured the attention of anime fans who then took to the internet and demanded a full-blown anime be made. Could you blame them?

Episode 2: Strike While the Dog is Hot - The title should have been a warning but hey, anime titles don't always translate well into English so who knew. I cringed at her updating the Kiripedia - yes, her name is Kirihime Natsuno - as our dynamic duo head out on a mystery mission.

After running into Rin at the abandoned swimming pool, the trio decides to start their own swimming club at Iwatobi High. The episode focuses on the friends efforts to get the swim club together-first they recruit their literature teacher Miss Ama to be the supervisor.

This episode picks up exactly where the last one left off, even though at first it doesn't seem to. We get to meet Kazuhito's kidnapper, which happens to be his little sister. At first it looks like a happy reunion for out floppy-eared hero but there is something very, very, strange about Madoka.

Ok before I discuss this episode, let's talk about the brand new opening theme which seems to be getting more hate that it really deserves. Media Factory's @comic_alive Twitter account announced last Sunday the anime adaptations of five manga series from the MG Bunko J line. I got a peek at the previews via a new friendly anime community, Shiro Chan and that made me want to know a bit more.

I swear each episode of this series is the fastest twenty-four minutes of my week. Episode 17 just kicked things in to high gear with the appearance of the Female Titan (someone should let Dot Pixis know about her) that we saw hints of in the opening.
