The marine park is an archipelago of 42 islands located in the Gulf of Thailand. The islands boast fantastic white sandy beaches, thick jungle, mangroves, limestone mountains, waterfalls and hidden caves. Close to the national park, there is an area of over 100 sqm of protected land dedicated to conserving wild animals and marine life. Koh Yippon and Koh Wao is part of this national park and is 30 km northwest of Samui. There are over 80 islands and one of the best spots for diving in Thailand. Kids who love swimming and nature will love being in this place, those who can and snorkel can try their hand at both. The visibility can be lower than other diving locations, but the striking scenery is sure to make up for that. Many shallow caves allow you to swim right through them. An exquisite array of soft coral life, schools of fish and stingrays are abundant in these locations.
