Top 5 Beaches in Canggu-the top picks!

One of the most famous and loved areas in Bali. This hipster-friendly region is packed with great beaches to sun, surf and relax.

1

Batu Belig Beach

This gem is hidden between Canggu and tourist hotspot Seminyak and is a 5–10-minute ride. Although it's not in Canggu, it's a location one can visit, for its seclusion and beauty.
It's a small, white sandy beach, with a couple of cute bars to drink some fresh coconuts and relax.
Surely a beach worth checking out while in Canggu, despite it being off the beaten path, a visit will be worth it.

2

Berawa Beach

One of the popular beaches in Canggu.
The famous black sand spreads out for endless miles and is due to volcanic activity. Berawa Beach is among the main beaches in Canggu and is positioned in front of Finn's Beach Club, another iconic attraction close to Berawa.
For surfers, this beach is one of the best in Canggu, intermediate and advanced surfers will fare well on these waves as the rips and waves are big and something to keep in mind. Surfboards can be rented from the beachside if you don't have one. The currents and waves can be strong here, not so ideal for swimming.
Bikes can be parked at Finn's on its right side parking lot, a days parking fee is around 2-5,000 IDR. They are a bunch of cute beach bars and cafes to while the time away. Milu by Nook and NUDE is a popular spot worth close to the beach.

3

Echo Beach

This beach is a few minutes away from Batu Bolong Beach and another popular beach in Canggu.
It is a surfer's haven for those of varying levels of experience. Find plenty of surf huts dotted along with the sand providing rentals and lessons for a little cost.
Rent a surfboard for around 60,000IDR for a two-hour surf lesson, or pre-book your surf lesson for 350,000IDR inclusive of the board. If you'd rather rest and relax in the sun, chill on the lounge chairs and sunbathe. There are some cool bars and restaurants to check out. Some include the Echo Beach Club, COMO Beach Club, and La Brisa. Go there to enjoy some food and drink and settle into a spectacular sunset.

4

Pererenan Beach

The black sand looks wild and stares out toward the Indian Ocean. The beach is renowned for its surf breaks.
This neighbouring region is identified as a more down to earth place and contrasts with the crazy vibe present in Canggu. It is a comparatively chilled place and not as lively as its neighbouring beaches. This is a surf point that the locals and tourists love, as ripper waves are common if you can get on them, it is mostly for advanced surfers, however.
This beach is just a few minutes away from Canggu and has some excellent restaurants in its proximity. Check out Beer e Pizza, Cafe du Monyet and Othree Beach Bar.
It is one of the hidden beaches in Canggu, which you should start discovering.

5

Seseh Beach

Located towards the northwest of Seminyak and is close to the Tanah Lot Temple.
Seseh is a relaxing seaside village with a few lush rice paddies scattered throughout the little village.
And among a few villa resort in Bali, find many in the surrounding areas such as Nirjhara
The beach space is peaceful save for a few seasoned surfers taking on the massive waves, it's almost secluded.
Best to visit here during the dry season from May to September. This beach has limited places for food and drinks, so go to the nearby Canggu for a nice meal.
