The Ultimate Dubai Packing List for an Amazing Vacation – Get ready for a trip of a lifetime

Suppose you ever get the opportunity to visit Dubai. In that case, it is in your best interest to pack adequately so that you can focus your time on enjoying the plethora of sites and amenities there are to be enjoyed. The last thing you want to be doing is running around looking for missing supplies.

1

Get your clothing right

Dubai is well known for the scorching temperatures that can arise due to its geographical location. However, many people do not realise that many people simply do not spend much time outside. For the most part life in Dubai takes place indoors. This means that people are generally spending their days in malls, restaurants, hotels or at home, where the air conditioning makes the environment extremely cold.
This means that people visiting are recommended to ensure that they are packing into their suitcase several warm layers or they will be quite cold during their entire stay. For example, if you are staying in one of the hotels near Dubai Marina, such as the Avani Ibn Battuta Hotel Dubai when you enter the lobby you will realise that you probably should have packed a sweater.

2

Medical kit essentials

If you are travelling to Dubai or any country, there is a chance that you will need some form of emergency medical kit. In Dubai however, there are some items that you simply should not forget. One of the first items is trusty Imodium. For anyone who has had the bad luck of an upset stomach, it is undeniable that this is not something they would ever like to repeat. So, if you are in Dubai and find yourself eating lots of new types of food, then there may be a chance that some Imodium will come in handy.
Keep some hydration salts with you as well, given then when you are outdoors, the heat and sun can be quite unforgiving. Lastly, if you are thinking of going desert dune bashing, then keep some motion sickness tablets with you.

3

Tech and accessories

One of the best investments you can make if you travel between regions is to keep a travel adapter with you. Given that Dubai runs on Type G plugs, you will need to come prepared in case your power cords do not support this wall plug. While many hotels do accommodate for this, keep in mind that this is not guaranteed.

4

Footwear for ladies

For the ladies, it is important to bring along a comfortable pair of sandals. This is mainly because despite the brilliant transportation systems in Dubai, there is still a lot of walking to do and there is simply no need to be uncomfortable during your visit.

5

Important documents

It goes without saying that your passport and visa are among the most essential items to keep with you at all times. Ensure that you have at least 6 months of validity for your passport and keep your emergency contact details close at hand as well. It would also be a good idea to keep an Arabic phrasebook with you so that you can communicate a bit better during your stay.
