Oakmoss and Abundance

Interestingly these are all base (bottom) notes so I'd personally be inclined to add some citrus to lighten and sparkle up the blend; Orange and Mandarin are the two that come to mind as they are so often associated with this time of year.

Galbanum, skin healer, soul healer

Galbanum ( Ferula galbaniflua), although an essential oil which is much less often used than say lavender, geranium, frankincense, has been used for thousands of years in herbal medicine. It is a member of the Umbelliferae Family. Galbanum resin was one of the ancient Egyptians most prized incense ingredients.

Lemon Myrtle

Myrtle ( Myrtus communis) is an oil that is known and used in aromatherapy. For more information on Myrtle you can read the mini profile in the Article Archives. Lemon myrtle ( Buckhousia citriodora) is a newer addition to our essential oil kits and is a gift from Australia.
