Celebrity Homes

The world's not exactly a place of absolute equality, but that doesn’t mean that we normals can't be jealous of what others have. Who has never dreamed of living like Pamela, or falling asleep in a bed as comfy as Gibson's? Well, here's what we're all missing out on while living in Utah, although many celebrities do have properties here.

Cher's Place

Cher's Place

She only has one name, but the older singer and performer actually owns at least two forms of personal real estate. When she finished her recording "Woman's World", this celebrity decided to splurge and buy her two-story home in Beverly Hills for $2.145 million. This comes in as an addition to her previous abode in Malibu, where she is reportedly letting her half-sister live in. Cher's newer real estate runs 3,089 square feet and features four bedrooms, a master suite with two fireplaces, a bath with double showers, and a giant closet, which means it holds a lot of clothes. As far as I know at least.

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan doesn't actually live in his Beverly Hills home anymore, not since he sold it back in 2005 for $6.3 million. Must have not had enough deadly Utah rattlesnakes or other dangers for his liking or something. The house is actually back in the real estate market, though this time at $9.5 million for the 7,638 square-foot, five-bedroom, and six-bathroom home. Of course, Jackie wasn't one to just sleep and pee though, and his former real estate reflects this. The home has both a wet bar and a wine cellar, an intricate golden staircase, and stained-glass windows for the master bedroom. Jackie certainly does like to keep classy.

Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong

He might have fallen out of public graces, but that doesn't mean the famous cyclist is living under a rock. In fact, before selling the real estate to race car driver Bret Curtis, his home on Lake Austin clocked-in at a whopping 12,553 square feet, complete with a 200-foot suspension bridge and private boathouse. This kind of property would be tough to find in Utah. In addition to these luxuries, the home is equipped with a pool, spa, cabana, rooftop deck, indoor sport court, and even an art studio. Likely one of those rooms would fill my entire Utah property. After selling the land, Lance bought another home in the Austin area. Maybe one with a bigger indoor cycling track so that he can practice.
