Teachers can either create experiences or they can have their students create projects on the CoSpaces website. Students can then use iPads, ChromeBooks or virtual reality glasses to share in the experience.

Bitmoji Classrooms

The past couple of years have taught us that we need to be prepared to do whatever we have to do in order to teach our students. Bitmoji classroom is a great tool for teachers to engage their face-to-face students or incorporate in a long distance education system. By creating your virtual classroom on Google slides you can invite your students to explore the classroom and click on links to other rooms or assignments.

Kahoot!

Kahoot! is a great tool for teachers to assess their students. Teachers , using Kahoot!, can create game-style quizzes that assess student understanding of a certain topic. Kahoots are customizable, so teachers can personalize them to fit their style or classroom as well as choose whether students will do quizzes in a whole group or individually. One of the best features on Kahoot! is the ability to go back to past quizzes and look at data from the quiz

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is another great program. This is a hub for teachers to create virtual classrooms where they can teach and communicate with their students. Teachers can create assignments and drop boxes for students to turn in their assignments when finished. They can record and upload video-taped lessons, as well as other links they want their students to click on. Google Classroom is compatible with other google programs, such as Google Slides, and Google Chome.

BrainPOP

BrainPOP is a website that provides fun animated lessons in various content areas ranging from mathematics to Arts and Music. BrainPOP is geared towards students of all ages. Teachers can use BrainPOP to supplement their lesson as well as explore the lesson plans on BrainPOP.

Storybird

Storybird is a wonderful website that allows students to create stories of their own. Teachers can use this site to help students publish their writing or use it as another form of presentation. This gives students an opportunity to be creative, which is a great tool for engagement and memorization.

Baamboozle

Baamboozle is a website where teachers create learning games. These teachers are experienced and know what students like as well as what they need to learn. Students can play these games individualy or they can play them as a whole group. These games will keep students engaged while also helping them remember content level material and there are many games to choose from.

Classcraft

Classcraft connects positive behavior with online gaming to create engaging experiences for students. Students progress or regress in this game based on the behaviors they exhibit. This program can also be used to target the students who are most in need by designing their goals to align with tiered instruction such as RTI or MTSS.
