5 Top Things to Do in Tsim Sha Tsui – Have the best expereince yet!

Tsim Sha Tsui located on the southern end or Kowloon in central Wan Chai is one of the most touristy places in Hong Kong. There is so much to explore here in this part of the island so here is a list of things that you simply can't miss out on when you tour Tsim Sha Tsui.

1

Ride the Star Ferry

This is one of the most recommended experiences to have in Tsim Sha Tsui and begins from Star Ferry Pier. Yoou can wither opt for the 1-hour long ride around Victoria Harbour or just take a 12-minute ride from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui. Its is a good choice for an evening away from the metropolis, perhaps by sunset so you can enjoy the views even better.

2

Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

If you need to spend a day out of your comfy room at Park Hotel Hong Kong, then Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is the place to head to. Avoid the early part of the morning due to the crowds rushing to work. Instead, try your best to make it by about 10 for a leisurely stroll on the promenade overlooking Victoria Harbour. There are many attractions along the way for you to drop in and venture through. Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars and Hong Kong Space Museum are the most popular attractions here.
By evening, head back towards the harbour, find a cosy spot to sit and watch the sunset. You'll see the city come to life gradually as dusk begins to encroach.

3

Discover the Small Alleys

These aren't prominent as tourist attractions, but nonetheless, it is definitely worth checking out. There are small alleyways that are unobtrusive to the eye. But if you do come across a few, walk through and you'll see a few traditional shops with collectible items that locals usually like. You'll even find some awesome food stalls if you want to taste some fantastic local food.

4

Avenue of Stars

If you'd like to delve into a bit of Hong Kong's movie history, then the Avenue of Stars is an interesting place to begin with. The attraction was upgraded in January 2019. Now it's more like a garden full of plaques in honour of some of the island's biggest celebrities. You can take a leisurely walk through the place, enjoy the fresh air and simply relax. Don't forget to click some photos too.

5

Night View of Victoria Harbour

When in Hong Kong this is one of the most amazing things you will see, so you simply have to make time for this on your list of things to do. Head over to the promenade by 8 pm and watch as the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra begins to play. Listen to the soothing melody as the lights on about 47 buildings move to the rhythm to create a wonderful picturesque view that will be etched in your memory forever before heading back to your Kowloon hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui!
