They constructed the Tulou, or the earth buildings, which is a heritage-listed landmark that attracts visitors from all over the world.

Mount Wuyi

If you want to be surrounded by gorgeous natural scenery, Mount Wuyi in Fujian Province is a must-see. To see everything this place has to offer, you will need a whole day. The location is known for its biodiversity protection programmes, and this is why it has been a heritage-listed site since 1999. It is one of the best scenic places in Xiamen to take brilliant photographs too!

Gulangyu Island

This is a famous tourist site, so plan on spending at least half a day here. A ferry ride from the city to the island takes about five minutes. The island is one of Fujian's top ten destinations for spectacular scenery. You'll adore it! And photographers will be further treated with amazing vistas!
