I became involved with CrowdPoint ultimately because the rough roads I have travelled in my life. A friend introduced me to Crowdpoint through The Advanced Medicine Exchange, just as I was undergoing yet another reparative surgery. I immediately saw this as a golden opportunity. I am so grateful to be able to live this moment in time and look forward to forging this new path in life, helping others as I was helped.

I joined the National Guard after graduating high school and returning home to find there were no jobs in my area. I buckled down and taught myself a dying trade, becoming a Horsehair Plaster Restoration Specialist for the next 28 years. This meant many hours of slinging mud onto high ceilings and walls from stilts, which led to multiple bodily injuries over the years. Now, I feel much older than my 54 years and I realize I need to find less traumatic ways of earning a living.
After so many years of abusing my body, I have come to realize that I need to change my ways.
