Getting to know about Blockchain has made me realized even more than before that a big part of my life is run based on a system referred to as Centralized Data, ie be it private entities eg schools, salons, grocers, clinics or government agencies, collect our data and store them in centralized stores, created by these entities, for these entities.
Unbeknown to us, what probably started off as a small exercise of gathering information before each transaction has catapulted into a multi trillion industry. Our data is the new oil that churns the entire world economy, be it legally or illegally. Business entities that collated our data, trade and exchange these datas for monetary return, whereas the deep state unscrupulously harvest our data illegally via malware, hacking, etc, victimising us, sucking our hard earned money, destroying lives. This is today a trillion dollar industry overshadowing the entire world economy put together.
However, when we shift and start transacting within a decentralized safe secure equitable blockchain marketplace, I believe we can put a stop to digital theft.
