What a crazy time we’ve endured this past year. Certainly it’s meant many changes for all of us particularly when it comes to the time spent in lockdowns and isolation from friends and family. One of the positive things that came out of this enforced isolation for me was the added time to observe not only myself but also what was going on around me in the world. I came to realize that many of the freedoms I thought I had were in fact were just illusion.

I started thinking about my perceived freedom and pondered was this in fact true, did I have a choice? Fortunately, I came across CrowdPoint, a company that is trying to level the playing field for micropreneurs and small businesses while maintaining integrity in the marketplace. They have developed a marketplace ecosystem built on the block chain which ensures privacy for all individuals on the platform. No longer will I have my identity stolen through tracking of my internet searches, purchases online etc. And no longer will companies be able to target unwanted advertising at me, steal my information and make money off me without my consent. This is a freedom I can take back.
