I’ve finally done it. I’ve broken from the shackles of the 9-5 job and achieved financial freedom - I am a Microprenuer! And no that’s not a typo.
What is a Micropreneur? Well, traditional entrepreneurs are committed to the quest for growth. Micropreneurs know they can be happy even if their companies never appear on a list of top-ranked businesses but are focused on helping others.
You see I’ve been at this “side hustle”, working for myself game for the past 12 years and had some success but not enough to justify quitting my 9-5 job. I started by owning a firework stand, became a licensed bounty hunter, went to L.A. for acting school, and moved on to various side projects until more recently with Ecommerce.
The past 5 years I’ve built stores with Amazon and Shopify, advertised on Facebook and Google, followed my mentors but it was still hit or miss. Problem is it costs a lot nowadays to sell on Facebook and Google, and so many of us don’t have pockets deep enough for all the trial and error involved within the startup process.
