Valentina Lisitsa earns my rank as top pianist in Classical Music, because of her finger delicacy, emotional connections with her pieces, and energy into every performance. She worked very hard to get this rank, starting her career on YouTube...
Vladimir Horowitz was hard to put at second place... He performs with complete control over the piano, has a strong build-up, and was a very happy person. R.I.P Vladimir Horowitz. :)
Sviatoslav Richter is one of my favorite pianists, consisting of a very wide repertoire (practicing until he is satisfied), and was very energetic in every single performance.
Boris Berezovsky is one of my favorite pianists because of his passion towards music, delicacy of touch, and lots of endurance for piano programs.
Marc-Andre Hamelin always amazes me with his wide repertoire range, passion for music, and great interpretations for piano works by Franz Liszt. My favorite Canadian pianist.
Martha Argerich is a stunning pianist with dazzling interpretations, incredible technique, and strength for lots of octaves (Piano Concerto No. 1 by Peter Tchaikovsky).
Glenn Gould was an astonishing pianist with fabulous technique, fast fingers, and perfection of many compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Freddy Kempf is one of my favorite British pianist because of the unbelievable talent in dexterity challenges, awesome Frederic Chopin interpretations, and an epic build-up.
Lang Lang bewilders me and is a very talented pianist with emotion-filled performances, un-human technique, and is very hard working.
Maurizio Pollini deserves this rank because he has my favorite interpretations of Frederic Chopin, has great technique, and is a nice happy man.
