Badrinath or Badrinarayana Temple is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites in India. Needless to mention, it holds great significance for Hindus. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
It is located in the Himalayan region and remains open for six months (between the end of April and the beginning of November) due to extreme weather conditions. It is mentioned in ancient religious texts and is associated with Adi Shankara too.
