Surrounded with lush palm trees offering plenty of shade, a day at the beach is ideal for the beach bums! Although a little bit of a long drive from Heritance Ahungalla, this just might be taste of a beach you've been looking forward to.
Another way to explore Sri Lankan water bodies is to go on a boat safari on the Madhu Ganga, where you will pass iconic temples, shaded mangroves and even a crocodile lazing about! This is definitely worth doing, if you want a surreal experience that's different from most.
