Shwedagon Pagoda

Shwedagon pagoda is undoubtedly the most popular attraction in Myanmar and this is definitely on the top of your must-visit places in Yangon. This pagoda is a special place for Buddhists from around the world and a sight to see for non-Buddhists.

Sule Pagoda

The Sule Pagoda is located in the centre of a very busy city intersection. The temple is dedicated to the fierce and strong Hindu goddess Kaali who plays an important role in Hindu culture and religion. The Sri Kaali Amman temple is one f the most colourful landmarks in Yangon as there are so many statues, structures, and paintings that bring the place to life.

When in Yangon you must make time to explore the streets on foot. There are so many buildings that belong to the colonial era that blend in with the local architecture.
