Kayaking will allow you to paddle around and soak in the beaches, palm trees and experience the island at your own pace. It is a fun activity and a good way to get a mini-workout to keep you in shape while holidaying. Resorts will organise a kayak for you, and some even have transparent bottomed kayaks to see what's happening in the ocean beneath you. Use basic precautions such as wearing a life jacket, and protect yourself from the harsh sun by wearing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. A few basic swimming skills will be desirable but not mandatory. As long you don't venture too far coast guards will be able to spot any danger.
