July 2013 Developer Tips "Newsletter"...

These are the July articles for the SocialBiz.org Developer Tips Newsletter

Small Changes To Modernize Your Apps

I've written a few articles on Twitter Bootstrap, this is not one, but I mention it because "modernizing" your applications is a popular topic these days. Your users want Web 2.0 (which at this point almost seems old, shouldn't we be on Web 3.4 or something?), they want streamline, user-friendly, "modern" applications.

Modern Mobility

In another article this month, I wrote about how small changes can make a big difference in modernizing an application. Modernization can also help your applications make the move to mobile. Looking For The Next Opportunity

It's a horrible feeling... The economy is down and your company is making "reductions in force"... The organization is making a change in "strategic direction", and IBM Notes/Domino products are not part of it. Your entire IT department has been outsourced or off-shored.

Bootstrap by Jake Spurlock Kathy Brown has written a couple of articles over the last few months on using the Twitter Bootstrap framework in XPages applications. I admit I had not heard of it prior to her articles, but I've seen it crop up a number of times since then.
