With a science park at its core, Cyberjaya Town is only appealing to a certain type of tourists, but most tourists don't seem to know that the town has many other attractions as well.
This is the most scenic spot in Cyberjaya. Cyberjaya Lake Gardens are visited by locals and people from other parts of the country. This is the main recreational centre of the town. The lake is an easy journey from the hotel apartments Cyberjaya. The boardwalk is perfect for an evening stroll, and the lookout town offers amazing views of the area. Kids love playgrounds found here, and adults find them to be a place where they can sit and relax.
A seven-minute drive from Citadines DPulze Cyberjaya, Gem-In-Mall is a popular shopping hub. The mall sells almost everything from clothes and snacks to souvenirs and electronics. Found inside the mall is a fitness centre; the place also offers a number of eateries. If you feel like doing a bit of shopping while in Malaysia, head to Gem-In-Mall.
The largest mall of Cyberjaya, DPULZE Shopping Centre is loved by shopaholics. The mall is visited by college students, office workers, and families with kids. Inside the mall are several cafes selling various snacks and drinks.
Although Cyberjaya doesn't have a reputation as a major tourist spot, it offers a plethora of fun things to do. Go-karting at Raycer Powerhouse is one such activity you can partake in and watch. The place offers go-karting lessons to those who are interested. If you want to take lessons in go-karting, make sure you book ahead.
This is more than just a shopping mall. Shaftsbury Square houses service apartments, cafes, restaurants, and numerous retail shops. The place has plenty of diversions that would keep visitors entertained for hours. Volcano Shabu Shabu is a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious steamboat dinner. Located at Tamarind Square, BookXcess is a bookstore that's open all day and every day. You can shop here at any time you want, and there's a huge collection of books. Inside the store is a café that serves delicious coffee. All the books are heavily discounted. If you feel like doing a bit of reading at midnight and find yourself with nothing to read, head over to BookXcess.
In addition to shopping, IOI City Mall offers ice skating. Icescape Ice Rink is massive, and visitors can twirl around all they want. Make sure you wear something that covers you well because it is freezing inside the rink.
Cyberjaya is only a 21-minute drive from Putrajaya. Thanks to the close proximity, visitors can combine Cyberjaya attractions and Putrajaya attractions. As such, there's a range of fun activities tourists can enjoy. Cyberjaya Paintball Park is a place where you can have great fun with your friends and family. IOI City Mall offers a bowling alley that attracts groups of people. Wakeboarding is one of the unique activities the town offers. Pictures of Putrajaya bridges are often seen on Instagram. For a bit of history education, you can visit the Millennium Monument.
The average temperature of Cyberjaya doesn't seem to vary. This region of Malaysia has a hot climate, though compared to other parts of the country, the weather here is tolerable. June, May, and April are usually the hottest months; June is when the temperature is at its highest.
