The Adelaide Town Hall

This building is easily the oldest building in the city square. Established in 1863, it is also one of the most stunning pieces of architecture in the area. The building stands out with an emblem set upon its out wall and it is possible to make out a variety of other impressions in the form of sheep, wheat as well as ships made on these walls.

The Parliament House in Adelaide

The main complex that represents the rule of law and democracy within Adelaide, this building can be seen as a domineering figure within the city. Build in a style reminiscent of the renaissance period, you can find a large portion of the building being constructed of marble. With a construction period lasting close to 65 years, the building has been through both world wars and is considered to be one of the most important buildings in the city due to its diplomatic importance.

The National Railway Museum

Many buildings exist in Adelaide that can be considered to be noteworthy, and many may not even make it into this list, however, the National Railway Museum is something that is quite spectacular. With a truly impressive exhibition space, the entire building is split up into two separate hangers to accommodate the scale of the exhibits themselves.
With more than 400 railway exhibits, a visitor can comfortably run through the entire locomotive history of the railway mechanisms, carriages and as well as workforces that were involved in the development of this service. A worthy tribute to a true marvel of engineering and design.

The AAMI Stadium in Adelaide

No great city is complete without its own sports stadium and Adelaide is not one that is lacking in this department. With a sports complex that can hold up to fifty thousand people, the AAMI Stadium has long being a part of fond memories of locals for many generations.
With football being the main sport being played on these grounds, it is also the base of the National Soccer League!
