The capital city

Kuala Lumpur is a lively city with a marvellous atmosphere. It is certainly among the most popular holiday destinations in the world. One of the most highlighted attractions is the Batu Caves. This is a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Murugan and built into caves nearly 400 million years old. The Petronas Tower is the iconic monument of the city. A visit to the Eco Forest and Botanical Gardens is a must. Merdeka Square is where Malaysia celebrated her independence and is another important site to visit. Moreover, there are plenty of top restaurants, shopping malls, and clubs to keep you further entertained while there.

Penang

If you are keen on learning more about the culture and history of Malaysia head to Penang, a district located on the northwest coast. The capital city of George Town is a beautiful colonial-era city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The street art in George Town is one of its most popular attractions, along with the pre-war heritage houses.
Head to Penang Hill to witness some panoramic views of Penang and George Town overlooking the ocean. The hill is covered in rainforests, temples, bars and restaurants. To engage in the history of the city visit the Cheng Ho Cultural Museum, Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum, and the Malacca Sultanate.

Langkawi

Langkawi is a cluster of 99 islands off the Malaysian west coast and is home to some of the best beaches in Malaysia. Thousands of travellers flock here annually to discover these islands. The most popular beach is Pantai Cenang which is a favourite spot for tourist so, it can get crowded. However, many more tranquil beaches can be located in Pantai Tengah and Tanang Rhu. The natural beauty of the islands is its best attraction. There are many waterfalls on the island, such as Telaga Tujuh, Air Terjun Temerun and Durian Perangin. Pangkor Island is further south of Langkawi and is less touristic. There are many lovely beaches and impressive landscape to explore for the wild at heart.
