Haihe River

This is the main river of Tianjin and a symbol of the city. The Haihe River stretches for 72 kilometres and moves within the city and to join the Bohai Sea.
21 bridges are connected across the river and all add to the beauty of the city. A unique bridge culture is apparent everywhere in the region.

Also referred to as the Five Big Avenues, is a global design exposition in Tianjin.

The Huangyaguan Great Wall

This 42-kilometre-long wall is also known as the Huangyaguan Great Wall. It is a World Cultural Heritage site and boasts amazing scenery and is considered a top site for its natural beauty. It was first built during the Beiqi Dynasty in 550-577. It was again later restored and developed in 1368-1644 under the Ming Dynasty.

The Ancient Cultural Street

This is a popular shopping strip in Tianjin packed with an extensive variety of street-side shops and kiosks. These shops sell traditional handicrafts, such as sculptures by Niren Zhang and new year paintings from Yangliuqing.
The market place is on a 680-meter street. It highlights structures belonging to traditional techniques used in the Qing and Ming Dynasties of 1368-1911.
