A new study by Jackpotjoy analyses and reveals the UK game shows with the highest 'Win-ability', by scoring their maximum cash prize, number of team members and opponents, the volume of questions or rounds, and the type of skill required to compete.
Supermarket Sweep scored highly as one of the most winnable game shows, partly because the main skill required is knowing your way around a supermarket.
Despite having a reputation for being one of the toughest game shows, Jackpotjoy’s Win-ability score rated it as the fourth most winnable based on a decent pot of cash prize available, and a high number of team members allowed.
This show made the top five due to having just one opponent to beat – the Wall itself.
Pointless also scored high for maximum cash prize, offering a rolling jackpot of its own. The highest jackpot awarded stands at £24,750, and the potential to win big helped this show beat out the competition.
