The appealing Lumpini Park is ranked amongst the biggest spaces of greenery in the central part of Bangkok. This park in the inner city which dates to the 1920s extends over a vast area and contains interesting kinds of flora as well as fauna. Many residents of Bangkok frequent this park to engage in jogging, aerobics, light workouts and other leisure pursuits. You may also wander through the maze of pathways that overlook the picnic areas, flourishing gardens and an artificial lake.
