Luigi Loir joined at the school of fine arts in Parma in 1853 and after Ten years later he started working in the studio of the painter and set designer Pastelot in Paris. He was the Paris painter par brilliance, capturing and expressing all aspects of the life of the city at all hours of the day and night.
