Sri Lanka is a stunning little island that is known as paradise on Earth and when you visit the island and witness the green mountains, the white sandy beaches and the stunning landscapes you will understand why it is called so. There are so many different places you can visit, which are mother nature's gifts to us all. Public Transport is an experience

Sri Lanka is a developing country and the public transport system is not the best option when you are travelling a short distance or long distance. The best public transport method is to take the train and this is when it comes to long-distance travelling as the trains are quite packed during peak hours for short distances. The train ride from Colombo to Badulla is known to be one of the most scenic train rides in Asia and it is a must-do activity when you are on the island.

Sri Lanka is a multi-religious and multicultural country where there are many Buddhists, Hindus and Christians. You will come across many religious locations you can visit and it is important to remember to be respectful at these locations even if you might not share the same spiritual or religious beliefs.
