Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The *Maruti Suzuki S-Cross *is a crossover that has the tough job of competing with mid-sized SUVs. Following a tepid response to the original model, Maruti updated the S-Cross with a more imposing front-end. The restyle seems to have done the trick, as sales have picked up since. There’s only one powertrain on offer now – a 1.5-litre petrol mild-hybrid that is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic. The S-Cross is sold exclusively from Maruti’s premium Nexa outlets. Find out the latest Maruti Suzuki S-Cross car price, reviews, specifications, images, mileage, videos and more. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

Maruti Suzuki XL6 Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The Maruti XL6 is a premium derivative of the Ertiga MPV. The '6' in the name is there to emphasise that this is a pure six-seater with captain's chairs taking the place of the Ertiga's middle row bench. Revised styling and added features also make the XL6 a very different proposition to the Ertiga. The XL6 is only available with a petrol-electric hybrid engine that can be had with manual and automatic gearbox options. The evergreen Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 received a significant update and has dropped the ‘800’ from its name in the process. In addition to the exterior and interior revisions, the refreshed Maruti Alto is now compliant with India’s latest safety standards. Its 796cc engine has also been made BS-VI emission norms-ready, ensuring the Alto will remain on sale for a good few more years to come. The diminutive Alto is available in petrol and CNG versions but there's no automatic gearbox option. One among the most affordable cars on sale in India, the Alto offers Maruti’s peace-of-mind ownership experience for relatively little money.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Specs, Images. Price, Videos // Autocar India

The Maruti Suzuki Celerio is the model that introduced the Indian car-buying public at large to the concept of AMT. But the gearbox was just one of many factors that helped the sensible Celerio click and go on to become one of India’s best-selling cars. The Maruti hatchback is available in petrol-manual, petrol-AMT and CNG-manual forms. A two-cylinder diesel-powered Celerio was also available in the past.

The utilitarian Maruti Suzuki Eeco is among the most affordable ways to transport five or more people and their luggage. It is basic transportation and it should only be seen as such. The Eeco is available in petrol and CNG versions and can be had in five- and seven-seat configurations. 2019's update has added mandatory safety essentials such as a driver airbag and ABS.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio X Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

Maruti Suzuki would like you to think of the Celerio X as a Celerio with an added 'X' factor. Essentially a rugged-looking version of the standard model, the Celerio X can be differentiated by its restyled bumpers and unique colour theme on the outside and inside. Mechanically, though, both cars are identical. Like the Celerio, the Celerio X is also offered in petrol-manual and petrol-AMT forms.

Maruti Suzuki Specs, Price, Images and Videos // Autocar India

Maruti Suzuki has gone public with plans to launch affordable electric cars in India, and the Wagon R EV will be the first of the type from the carmaker. While the Wagon R EV launch is only scheduled for October 2020, Maruti has deployed a fleet of test cars to gather data for the development of the India-specific model. By extension, the final product might be very different in look and features to the test cars that have been spotted on Indian roads. The Wagon R's typical ‘tall boy’ shape is, however, almost a certainty.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The Maruti Jimny has 1 Petrol Engine on offer. The Petrol engine is 1462 cc . It is available with the Manual transmission. Maruti Suzuki Jimny is a SUV which is expected to launch in India in Nov 2021 in the expected price range of ₹ 7.00 - 11.00 Lakh. ₹ 7.00 - 11.00 Lakh Estimated Price. It could be launched in India as a 5-door SUV by early-2020. The Jimny was showcased at Auto Expo 2020 and has been spied testing in India multiple times. Maserati Levante Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The Levante is Maserati’s first-ever SUV. And, by virtue of its ground clearance, it is the *Maserati *that’s best suited to India. Sadly, the Levante is available in India in diesel form only. Being a full import, it costs quite a packet as well. A *Maserati *of any shape had better be sporty. And the Levante is. It feels well balanced and the steering has an old-school weight to it too. What doesn’t feel sporty enough is the engine. Sure, it sounds incredible and the 275hp, 3.0-litre V6 diesel is strong, but power flows in so smoothly that the Levante feels slow when it really isn’t. If only *Maserati *offered the Levante with V6 and V8 petrol engines in India. Of the other things, ride quality on the standard-fit air suspension is good, though sharper edges aren’t filtered out in their entirety.

Maserati Ghibli Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The Maserati Ghibli has serious star appeal. Its purposeful stance and slick styling sure make it looks the business. The Ghibli’s cabin, however, has its strengths and weaknesses. Sure, the layout of the dashboard is classy and there’s lots of scope for personalization too, but quality is not quite in keeping with the Ghibli’s price and there are some ergonomic issues as well. Space at the back is fine but the rear seat itself is contoured for two occupants.

Maserati Quattroporte Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

‘Quattroporte’ is Italian for ‘four doors’ and the word is best associated with Maserati’s own full-sized four-door luxury sedan. The Maserati Quattroporte can be had in India with a (relatively) level-headed V6 diesel while the refreshed twin-turbo V8 petrol is coming soon. Unfortunately, the Maserati Quattroporte is far more expensive than like-sized rivals. The Maserati Quattroporte sure can turn heads. It’s massive to begin with and the design is rich in Italian flair. The cabin is equally glamorous, and there’s a huge catalogue of materials, finishes and optional features, such as individual rear seats, to further personalise the space to your liking. Website at https://www.autocarindia.com/cars/maserati/granturismo

The GranTurismo is Maserati’s gorgeous four-seat GT coupe. It’s been around for long but actually appeals for its relatively analogue experience. The Maserati GranTurismo is available in Sport and racier MC versions. The Maserati GranTurismo might be a decade plus into its life but it remains one of the most beautiful GTs on sale. It can’t completely hide its vintage on the inside though a new-age touchscreen infotainment system has helped bring the cabin into the present. The Maserati GranTurismo’s interior is lovingly crafted and there’s lots of scope for personalisation. Front seat comfort is good and what’s nice is that the rear seats are also useable. Rear headroom could be an issue, however.

Maserati GranCabrio Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

Roof up or down, the Maserati GranCabrio is just gorgeous. The fabric roof isn’t the quickest on the draw, however, and takes a relatively leisurely 28sec to fold/unfold. The GranCabrio can’t completely hide its vintage on the inside but a new-age touchscreen infotainment system has helped bring the cabin into the present. The Maserati *GranCabrio *interior is lovingly crafted and there’s lots of scope for personalisation. With the roof down, four adults can enjoy open-top motoring in good comfort. But with the roof in place, rear-seat headroom is in short supply. Boot space is also strictly limited.
The GranCabrio driving experience has its highs and lows. The 460hp V8 engine lacks outright punch but builds speed with grace and sounds glorious while at it. Again, while the GranCabrio changes direction with poise, the absence of a fixed roof has translated into the car not feeling as ‘tight’ as it ought to. In town, the steering feels heavy and you also have to take extra care on speed breakers to keep the bodywork from making contact with the surface.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The Mercedes-Benz E-class is a large car but one that also has a stately air about it. It’s superbly appointed on the inside and the cabin wonderfully blends new-age tech with old-world warmth. Front-seat comfort is good but the real highlight in the Mercedes-Benz E-class is the rear-seat experience. There’s immense leg room at the back and the electrically reclining seats are just fantastic. The 197hp, 2.0-litre petrol E 200 is quiet and feels light on its feet but isn’t as exciting as rivals. The E 220d’s 194hp, 2.0-litre engine is refined and linear in its build of power while the E 350d’s 286hp 3.0-litre straight six is silky smooth and has deep reserves of power. All long-wheelbase E-classes change direction with grace but there’s no escaping the car’s size. The E 200 and E 220d ride well on their steel springs. Air suspension adds a degree of plushness and adjustability to the E 350d’s set-up but there is some float at all times. Do note, you need to be careful over large speed breakers to prevent its belly from scraping.

Mercedes-Benz GLE Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

The Mercedes-Benz GLE is a large and handsome SUV which is best identified by its chunky C-pillar and wraparound rear glass. The GLE's cabin is large and airy and there's lots of room for rear-seat passengers to spread out thanks to its long-wheelbase layout.
Seat comfort is good, with the six-cylinder versions even getting a power-adjusted second row, and there's a substantial amount of boot space available. Infotainment is courtesy Merc's MBUX touchscreen system, which looks good and is easy to operate. Six-cylinder models even get a superb sounding Burmester hi-fi audio system.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE range starts with the GLE 300d, powered by a 245hp, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. This misses out on some equipment and power is just about sufficient, but the lower price it's offered at makes it a tempting offer and this will likely be the variant of choice for most.
The six-cylinder 400d offers effortless performance and surprising refinement and is the one to go for if money is no object. The 450 is a six-cylinder petrol paired with an ISG that adds 22hp and 250Nm of boost under hard acceleration.

Mercedes-Benz GLS Price, Images, Reviews and Specs | Autocar India

With this latest GLS, Mercedes-Benz has come closer than ever to achieving its goal of creating the 'S class of SUVs'. It offers vast space as always (although curiously, the third row isn't quite as spacious as the previous car) and now the luxury quotient has been upped significantly. There's loads more tech too, all based around Mercedes' MBUX infotainment system, and its two new straight-six engines provide the sort of effortless performance you'd expect. The ride can feel a bit fidgety on those large, 21-inch wheels though. The real attraction of the GLS, however, is its vast size and the commanding road presence that brings, and that has only been enhanced this time around.
