5 Things to Do in Ho Chi Minh City with Kids – Fun with the little ones!

Ho Chi Minh City is an interesting city not only because of the shopping malls or the culinary delights but also because of the ample things families can do together to make lasting memories.

Water Puppet Theatre

The Water Puppet Theatre is likely the least interactive location children can visit but due to the exciting acts of the performance children love watching the performances at the Water Puppet Theatre. There are daily shows at 5.00 pm, 6.30 pm and at 7.45 pm to which you can book tickets in advance to avoid the hassle of staying in the queue. The performances are about 50 minutes each which is the perfect time period to keep the attention of the children that attend the show.

Artinus 3D Museum

If you are staying at furnished apartments in Ho Chi Minh City you are not too far from the Artinus 3D museum and you can make a visit when time permits even if you didn't add it to your itinerary. The Museum is a great source to educate children about the past of Vietnam and its cultures and traditions as many different sculptures are lifelike and interesting. Some sections have sculptures about animals, nature, and famous buildings and creations from around the world. This makes an interesting location for children to explore and take photographs at so you have memories of when you visited the Artinus 3D Museum in Ho Chi Minh City.

Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens

The Saigon Zoo which is also known as the Ho Chi Minh City Zoo is ideal for children of different age groups. There are over 500 different animals that call this zoo their home and the botanical gardens are a wonderful location to spend the time after a long day of walking and exploring. As one of the oldest zoos in the world, the zoo is a must-visit location when you are in Ho Chi Minh City. The botanical gardens have several sections and displays that educate children about animal conservation, plant conservations, and a variety of other important information that should be taught to children at a young age in order to build empathy and love for animals and nature.

Suoi Tien Cultural Amusement Park

If you are with a large group of people which includes children and adults then the Suoi Tien Amusement Park is a great location to spend the day at. Not located too far from D1mension Residences and other accommodation providers the Amusement park is a place where parents can bring their children when they no longer tolerate shopping sprees and shopping malls. The amusement park has many different statues of dragons, phoenixes, and other mystical creatures making it exciting for young ones.

Dam Sen Water Park

If there is one thing children will always get excited about, that is definitely when they get to splash around in the water. The Dem Sen Water Park in Saigon is a location where kids and adults enjoy themselves together as it has different rides, slides, and activities for a variety of age groups. So even though parents might feel this will be a day for the children it is actually a day where both parties can spend time together and bond with one another.
