The amazing project began on the 6th of January 2004 and was finished on the 4th of January 2010, which took around 22 million man-hours to accomplish. The cost to finish this challenge was estimated to be around USD $1.5 billion, and surprisingly the whole investment was paid off within the first year of the grand opening. To construct this enormous structure, Burj Khalifa required massive amounts of construction materials which include 330 000 cubic meters of concrete and 39 000 tonnes of steel rebar to reinforce the concrete.
