Sometimes you don’t have a delete key on some Windows devices. Jumping to the end of the word just to delete via backspace may also be a waste of time and demotivating sometimes. The delete key in Mac is also equivalent to holding down control plus D.
If you cannot use the calculator for whatever reasons, the spotlight also makes correct calculations and can also be used to make conversions.
