Painting is something that's inherently come to someone, possibly with their genes. It's not to say that it isn't an art form that can't be mastered, but there's a particular group of people that are just amazing at it – and they arrive at this world once or twice per century! Vincent van Gogh

One of the most distinguished artists in the history of western art, Vincent van Gogh was an incredibly talented artist who never received the praise he so rightly deserved during his lifetime. He has created over 2,100 artworks within just a span of a decade; out of these 860 belonged to the oil-painting category. One of his most famous paintings is The Starry Night that is truly a delight to look at – whether you're an art lover or not. It is even used as a backdrop in popular movies such as La La Land as well. Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the most exceptional artists that have ever existed to this date. Born in Florence, Italy, he started painting very early in his life and was considered a child prodigy. He nurtured an ardent passion for all forms of art and was rather successful in all that he did. As people started recognising his work, he gradually became famous. Even after his death, his magnificent creations are still exhibited in museums across the globe. His art is quite notable for its indistinct threatening nature with keen contrasts of light and shadow, which instils an ethereal feeling in the mind of its observer.
