Most Attractive Destinations in Quy Nhon – Up-and-coming Destinations

Quy Nhon is a small yet vibrant coastal city located in Central Vietnam. In the past, it hasn't received the attention that its picturesque landscapes so truly deserve. With a plethora of unforgettable attractions, Quy Nhon shows its potential to become Vietnam's next big tourist hotspot!

1

Hon Kho Island

Visiting Hon Kho Island is considered one of the best things to do In Quy Nhon - and it isn't without good reason! It is an extremely serene and picturesque island. You can travel by car or motorbike to a charming fishing village in Nhon Hai Commune and hire a boat to reach this beautiful island (and it wouldn't even take 30 minutes to get there!) On your way to the island, you'll even get to explore the colourful marine world that exists just a few feet beneath the waves. Interestingly, the sea level is not quite deep here so non-swimmers will also have the chance of wearing life jackets and taking a peek at the thriving communities of marine life that exist below the shimmering water surface. Walking around the island will let you immerse in its beautiful green nature and you will also get to witness the turtle nesting grounds.

2

Eo Gio

Located approximately 34.5 kilometres from Anantara Quy Nhon Villas is Eo Gio, one of the most impressive attractions in Quy Nhon. It can be found in Nhon Ly commune and is rather popular for its immaculate beauty. To enter this place, you will have to pay a fee of 25,000 VND (which is not much when converted to US Dollars). The ideal time to visit Eo Gio is from December to May and you will be treated with some of the most breathtaking vistas including an immensely beautiful seascape surrounded by majestic rock cliffs and beautiful sky.

3

Ky Co

Ky Co Beach can be found on Nhon Ly Island and just a 20-minute boat ride away from Quy Nhon. It is affectionately dubbed "the Maldives of Vietnam" and true to that title, it does have the glistening blue waters and the white sand beaches characteristic of the Maldives. On one side of the beach, you will be introduced to its sparkling turquoise waters while on the other side you will be greeted by a majestic strip of gigantic mountains.

4

Ham Ho

Once you have your dose of sea views, why not venture towards a three-kilometer-long river in Tan Phu commune! It is known for its abundance of fish, particularly during the rainy season. The immense natural beauty caters more towards attracting tourists, and they can look forward to leisurely exploring this long stretch of pristine water via a kayaking session. The granite-covered bottom would sparkle in the sun creating the most beautiful effect.

5

Quang Trung Museum

A historic landmark attracting tourists from near and far, Quang Trung Museum is a massive museum dedicated to the most famous personalities in the history of Vietnam. It has been built on the site of the Tay Son brothers' house and also includes quite an old tamarind tree that's said to have been planted by them.
