Utah’s pollen makes you cry often. Better yet, you just heard that you need to have eye surgery and you begin to cry. Eye surgery isn’t all that bad! Utah medical professionals deliver a quick, safe surgery that yields excellent results. But don’t worry, you’re allowed to have a good cry, because crying has health benefits!
ears are important because they allow the eye to see. Sure, bawling often clouds the vision with a cascade of tears, but afterwards vision is significantly improved. The tears lubricate the muscles in the eye, allowing them to move freely and function properly. Maybe crying is the answer to improving your vision rather than surgery!
Along with many activities, crying releases endorphins, which are hormones in the brain that help the person feel slightly better. So when you cry about your impending eye surgery, endorphins will be there to help you feel better.
During stress, chemicals and hormones are built up in the body. Crying helps get rid of some of these, along with a little exercise to sweat out the stress. Stressed out about that upcoming eye surgery? Have a cry, and you’ll feel better.
Tears also serve as a Purell-type agent for the eyes, destroying most bacteria that enter. Diseases like the common cold can be downright prevented from a good cry.
A tear produced from stress is heavy with chemical by-products from stress. These tears, of course, are only produced when you are stressed, and do not have the same effect when you cry due to Utah allergies.
