One of the big attractions of Brighton is the beach, which is lined with pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries, and much more. There is also Brighton Pier which is regarded as one of the most impressive within the UK as it boasts 3 pubs, a restaurant, stalls, shops, 2 amusement arcades and a funfair.

Portsmouth is also a popular area of the south coast, and boasts many tourist attractions. One of the most popular is the Historic Naval Base which features the Victory, the ship Lord Nelson fought and died on during the Battle of Trafalgar. There is also the Mary Rose at the Naval Base, one of the oldest shipwrecks lifted from the bottom of the sea.
Next to the Naval area is the newer addition of the Spinaker Tower, which features viewing platforms out over the Naval area and across to The Isle of Wight. For the brave amongst you the first viewing platform has a glass area built into the floor which can be walked across.
