Built back in the early 1600s, Fort Frederick is an old-time colonial spot that was built in Sri Lanka by the people of Portugal. Right now, it is used by the Sri Lankan military and armed forces, but the public can still go see it whenever they want. You will also find a lot of wildlife roaming about this area and this is a great place to go during the day especially if you want to escape the sunshine. Fort Frederick is open from 6 a.m. and shuts only at 10 p.m.
