Unique Things to do in Grenada – An amazing little, green gem in the world

Did you know that Grenada is one of the most ideal destinations to have that amazing Caribbean vibe? Not just that, its beaches, mountains, jungles, and even the unique festivals will make you fall in love with Grenada so much more.

1

Explore the beaches

Did you know that Grenada is home to the best beach in the world? So, during your tour of this destination, forget not to explore its amazing beaches. The most beautiful is the Grand Anse around which you find many hotels and restaurants. With crystal clear waters, greyish sands (white + black), shades of palm trees, and the soft breeze, Grenada beaches offer the best coastal moments for you. There are also other beaches you may explore such as Bathway beach and La Sagesse Beach.

2

Waterfall hikes

This is another way through which you can take yourself closer to nature. Plan a waterfall hike to a remote area in Grenada. Some of these trails through the jungles can be hard and challenging, but you will never get enough of it due to the mesmerizing scenery along the way. If you opt to visit the Concord Waterfall that will just be a 30-minute hike. You may also explore the 7 Sisters Waterfall that has a series of 5 waterfalls (although the name goes as 7!).

3

Head to the Welcome Rock Lookout

This is the best place to have the perfect panoramic views of the islands below in Granada. Once you take the vertical road up to the lookout point (You can't drive up there, so walking is the only option), you will reach the summit, and from there, you'll be able to explore even the most iconic private island Grenada has 'Sugar Loaf'. Ladies, please don't choose to wear high heels for this tour!

4

Visit the Rum Shacks

This is all about enjoying your moments, and don't feel bad about it any time. Before saying bye to a nicely spent day in Grenada, stop at a Rum Shack for a drink or two. These are some roadside bars painted in very bright colours, and no matter at what time of the day it is, they will always have people in them. You may try out a local beer and a tiny shot of rum first while having a good chat with a fellow local. But make sure you stay away from Rivers Rum because this is going to hit hard on you for sure!

5

Enjoy the Grenada Carnival

Grenada Carnival usually happens in August. If you get to travel to this destination during this festive period (1 week), you'll be able to explore some of the craziest parties you have ever seen in your life.

6

Holidaying in Grenada

So, holidaying in Grenada sounds like an interesting choice. Doesn't it? Worry not about flying between Caribbean Islands as long as you have interCairbbean Airway. Once you go there, Grenada hotels will be able to provide you with world-class hospitality services.
